August 12 | GET YOUR TIX

August is upon us and we’ve got some incredible fun under the sun ahead of us! The Solotech Stage will be bumping on August 12th as Victor Bongiovanni opens things up with his jackin take on up-front dance music, before Toronto’s Bambii takes us on a journey through the hottest sounds in club music. Finally, Kim Ann Foxman, darling of the electronic music press will finish the day off in style with her hyper-danceable blends and silky sophisticated take on house. Don’t Miss it!

Meanwhile, local collective NVA will be in control of the Moog Audio stage, starting with Sainte Nitouche’s futuristic and synth soaked take on contemporary styles, followed by New Yorker Hunter Lombard’s hyper-accelerated club music, and finally Softcoresoft’s ravy techno.

House, techno and love – what isn’t to like? August 19th at the Solotech Stage belongs to Desert Hearts, a collective whose festival in the Mojave desert has blossomed into a full on movement celebrating the absolute best in dance music. The entire crew will be in command all day, that’s Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs and Porky taking turns on the decks as they see fit with a colourful blend of styles that’ll bring the Burning Man vibe to Montreal. Bring your most outrageous costumes to join in the fun, because it’s sure to be a fantastic party!

Over at the Moog Audio stage, the OCTOV collective will be running the day, presenting their massive vision of techno starting with the banging sounds of Lucide, followed by the futuristic sounds of Omar Hamdi. S Y L A will then guide us even deeper through the realms of techno, before passing the baton to a Surprise Guest. Lovers of dark futuristic beats, your time is now!

It’s that time of the year again! Once more, Piknic Électronik teams up with MUTEK, collaborating on another forward thinking lineup of dance music’s leading lights. At the Solotech stage, Montreal’s own Ouri will warm things up, followed by France’s Bambounou who’ll bring funky syncopation and red hot grooves to please one and all. Finally, the day will culminate with a very special set by Floorplan AKA Detroit techno legend Robert Hood’s soulful house alias. We can’t wait!

Meanwhile at the Moog Audio stage, Anthony Naples will headline with his edgy, angular take on New York dance music, moving our feet and getting us bouncing. He’ll be preceded by Magnanime, whose nervy house rhythms are sure to get the party started.
